The Center for International Education and Cooperation is a structural unit of Uman National University that is responsible for organizing the recruitment and coordinating the training of foreign nationals and stateless persons, as well as arranging internships abroad for faculty and students.
The Center comprises a preparatory department for foreign nationals and an international relations department.
The Center’s main objective is to coordinate and support the University’s activities in the areas of pre-university preparation for foreign nationals, educational and mentoring work with foreign nationals pursuing higher education, visa and registration procedures, and international cooperation.
The Center’s main tasks are:
- monitoring the educational services market in various regions of the world;
- collaborating with agencies that recruit international students;
- developing admission policies for international students at Uman National University;
- admitting international students to the preparatory department and processing the necessary documents;
- organizing entrance interviews for international students applying to accredited programs at Uman National University and processing the necessary documents;
- coordinating visa and passport matters for foreign citizens studying at Uman National University, as well as processing the relevant documentation;
- receiving and accommodating foreign citizens who have arrived to study at Uman National University;
- coordinating the activities of the faculties regarding the implementation of curricula and training programs for foreign citizens;
- developing curricula for the preparatory department and coordinating educational programs for international students;
- improving the academic and methodological support for the education of international students;
- in collaboration with other departments of Uman National University, monitoring academic performance, internship results, and analyzing the current attendance of international students.
